These are the Standard Terms and Conditions of Sale of Cruise Direct UK Ltd, 94 New Bond Street, London W1S 1SJ Company Number 06249163 Group tour operator])] ("the Seller operating as www.cruisevoucher.co.uk and www.dreamvoucher.com
THESE CONDITIONS DESCRIBE THE BASIS FOR PURCHASE BY YOU AND SALE BY US OF THE PRODUCTS DESCRIBED ON THIS WEB SITE, Or suplied via our agents or through any 3rd party authorised or not by us.

To protect your own interests please read the conditions carefully before you buy or bid for a voucher. If you are uncertain as to your rights under them or you want any explanation about them please email our customer queries department Before you place the order.
YOU ARE ADVISED TO PRINT AND RETAIN THESE TERMS FOR YOUR RECORDS.


All Vouchers are redeemable in whole against cruises listed under the various cruise Itineraries within their relevant section on the site.

No partial refund given for a voucher under any circumstances for instance when is used on a lesser value category for example using a Diamond voucher to purchase a Platinum cruise or due to exchange rates a voucher is worth more than the current full tariff rate/  Brochure Price.


Vouchers have no cash value and are non refundable, Once an offer is booked this is also non refundable and cancellation will result in loss of voucher unless otherwise agreed by cruisevoucher staff.


Vouchers are for 2 people sharing a Cabin; If only one person is travelling there is no refund offered or option to split.


Retail Value of vouchers represents the average Value of cruises within that section at UK full Retail Brochure/tariff rate for said Cruise Only Holiday. Including upto a £150 per Year Option fee which is included in Voucher Retail price.


Cruise Offers published on the website are updated on a weekly basis and during that week an offer can become sold out and we are not in any way responsible if this occurs.


All cruises on a cruise only basis it is your responsibility to get to and from embarkation / disembarkation ports. No Air or transportation is included.


Unused Vouchers are transferrable for a service/shipping charge, once transferred the original expiry date is still In effect and cannot be extended.


Number of cruises offered within any section may vary from time to time and in high sales months or months when offers are limited certain periods may have no cruises offered. The type of cruise offered may vary due to currency exchange fluctuations between the UK Pound the Euro and USA Dollar and seasonal Fare adjustments


Standard 2/3 Year Platinum,Gold Vouchers/All Vouchers sold through authorised agents on all auctions sites including ebay, cqout, Ebid, and Overstock

All Offers are limited to a maximum of 2 cabins per voucher holder /Household or Family except where indicated differentatly on the offer page.

Cruises Over 7 days and Popular Cruises (From 1st October 2009 called Premium Offers) such as Alaskan, Transatlantic, European, Australian, Disney  will be limited to 1 cabin per voucher holder/Household/Family per 365 Days(From Day of Booking)  once any premium offer is booked only a non premium offer may be booked  after the 30/90 day period regardless of premium offer type.


No Groups of friends/work colleagues etc can use multiple vouchers to travel together in this case you may book 1 cabin using a voucher and may purchase additional cabins at our group rate or from another Travel Operator/Agent.

All Titanium Offers are limited to 1 cabin per voucher holder/Household/Family per 365(From Day of Booking) Days.

 

Rainbow Offers - A Rainbow Offer may be booked using a  Platinum, a Diamond and a Titanium voucher together,only this combination of vouchers can be used to book a rainbow offer. all rainbow offers are premium and once taken no other offer from any catagory may be booked from 365 days of booking. If another premium offer has been booked then you have to wait 365 days from that booking before you can book a rainbow offer.

Gold Vouchers
All Offers are limited to a maximum of 1 cabin per voucher holder/Household/Family.
Gold Vouchers currently expire on date printed on Voucher.
Holders of multiple Gold Vouchers May Book 1 gold offer every 90 days  Further cabins can be purchased at Cruise Direct UK Ltd’s Group rate subject to availability.
Unless otherwise stated all offers are for Inside Cabins, Options to upgrade to Outside, Balcony and Suites may be requested and prices will always be highly competitive.


Suspected abuse of  premium rules and ir cabin limitation rules this may result in loss of booking privileges and already booked cabins being released back on system.


Holders of Multiple Vouchers and other family/Household Members may only book 1 offer every 30 days for non premium/ platinum and diamond  Offers.


Further cabins can be purchased at Cruise Direct UK Ltd’s Group rate subject to availability.


Unless otherwise stated all offers are for Inside Cabins all offers will usually have cabins on a gty basis thus no requests can be taken for specific cabins/ areas of ships, Carnival inside offers may use CAT 1A which are inside cabins with Bunk Beds, Options to upgrade to Outside, Balcony and Suites may be requested and prices will always be highly competitive.

Corporate and Charity 2/3 Year Platinum, Diamond and Titanium Vouchers( this refers to voucher number starting CP(Platinum), CD(Diamond)  CT(Titanium) and CR (Rainbow)

A voucher holder may book 1 offer every 365 days regardless of voucher type, No Groups,  no family bookings unless agreed prior to voucher sale.

 


As visa and documentation requirements vary by country and are subject to change, it is guest’s responsibility to check any visa requirements that may be applicable to them for every port of call as well as embarkation and disembarkation ports. Local immigration office, or the embassy or consulate for each country they will visit on their cruise to verify current entry requirements. It is the guest's responsibility to obtain required visas and other documentation prior to sailing, including vaccinations for infectious diseases.

Travel Protection:

As with all holiday vacations we recommend all guests take out a full travel insurance policy that includes cruise cover. cruise itineraries are subject to change. Guest safety is the number one priority for the cruise lines. On rare occasions, weather conditions and other unforeseen circumstances require a change in itinerary. In these situations, the cruise line staff will do everything in their power to visit an alternate port of call, Cruiselines can also cancel sailings and routes and travel insurance to cover loss of airfare if booked is advised as we will only reinstate your voucher unless we can provide a similar itinerary on that date or close to that date.


Service Charges:
Onboard gratuities are additional and with some cruise lines may be automatically added to your onboard account. If you wish to take care of your own gratuities please contact the purser’s desk once onboard ship and ask for them to be removed.

Travel Partner Groups:

On groups that we opertae with or on behalf of our travel partners Approx 3-4 months before sailing  we will email you to check if you will be attending this is due to penalties imposed on us for non shows which result in lose of gap points or holder commission if these emailes are not replied to we will endover to reach the passengers by phone but failing this passengers will be removed from group and voucher reinstated so is imperative that we are kept updated with current email addresses and phone numbers.

Advance Guest Registration:

Guests are requested to complete Advance Guest Registration form We will either forward documents or guest will be required to complete at the cruise terminal at least two (2) hours prior to the departure time noted on their cruise documents.

Final Boarding Time Policy:
Please be advised that on embarkation day, all guests must be onboard the ship no later than 2 hours prior to the departure time noted on their cruise documents or they will not be permitted to sail.


By booking through cruisevoucher you agree that you are joining a Group controlled by Cruise Direct UK Ltd  or one on Cruise Direct UK Ltd 's worldwide partner agencies.

 Excursions, 3rd/4th passenger and upgrades should be made through Cruise Direct UK Ltd as your agent /Group/Tour operator and will be charged by the Cruiseline usually in U.S Dollars.
Cabins are allocated from Cruise Direct UK Ltd's  group holdings / or late negotiation /space filling contracts on stated cruise sailing or from Cruise Direct UK Ltd 's worldwide partner agencies..

Once a Voucher holder books and  Cruise Direct UK Ltd Confirms to enter into a booking contract,  Cruise Direct UK Ltd may use any of above including late negotiation to supply the contracted cabin,


If for any reason said contract cannot be executed for reason within or beyond  Cruise Direct UK Ltd's control an alternative cruise with similar itinerary from a port within a reasonable distance of the original may be offered  within 1 week either side of the original cruise date or at  Cruise Direct UK Ltd's discretion a  refund of no more than the original purchase price of the voucher may be issued or the voucher reinstated, this applies to cruise cancellation/changes  or main group cancellations at the Cruiselines/ Cruise Direct UK Ltd's end and as already stated cancellation by customer for any reason is non refundable and no other option will usually be offered.


 Cruise Direct UK Ltd Will complete contracted bookings No later than 10 days prior to sailing in order to comply with new security regulations. With exception of late offers entered into and agreed with the cruise company in less time.

Cruise Tickets/Documentation
All Cruiselines now use E-Tickets we will issue you log in information approx 4-8 weeks before departure, late negotiation bookings may be as late as 10 days before sailing to achieve optimal late negotiation pricing.
You will then be required to complete online security information and print off boarding passes. You can also book shore excursions and other options at this point.


Any change of passengers is subject to a $50 handling cost by  Cruise Direct UK Ltd added to any Cost charged by the cruise line, In many circumstances change of passenger will not be possible.
 

Cruise Direct UK Ltd is in no way responsible for any errors in listings, pricing or text contained within this web site and has the right to correct any mistakes and change said mistake without liability, No booking is guaranteed until confirmed by reply once a booking order has been received and may be cancelled upto 12 weeks before sailing if any booking conditions have deliberately been violated.


 Cruise Direct UK Ltd will pass on any Complimentary cabin upgrades or if requested allow passengers to upgrade to desired category At a cost Set by  Cruise Direct UK Ltd


Any change to ports of call or change of dates/cancellation of sailing by the cruise line  or cancelation of the main group by individuals, companies or Cruise Direct UK Ltd 's worldwide partner agencies which  Cruise Direct UK Ltd  is acting as agent for is  completely beyond control of Cruise Direct UK Ltd 's and is passenger’s responsibility to make sure they have adequate travel insurance in place to cover loss of airfare should this occur.  And by buying receiving any voucher supplied by Cruisevoucher/Cruise Direct UK Ltd  or agents of Cruise Direct UK Ltd  holders agree to be bound by these conditions.


3rd and 4th Passengers in Cabins will be charged 3rd and 4th passenger rates by the Cruiseline vouchers cannot be used for this.


All Cruiselines usual Terms and conditions apply to all bookings it is the responsibility of the voucher holder/passenger to ensure they comply with all of these including age requirements and visa requirements.


By placing an Order and purchasing a voucher from www.cruisevoucher.co.uk you enter into a legally binding agreement with us on the following Conditions. You should read and understand these Conditions because they affect your rights and liabilities.

1. Interpretation
1.1 In these Conditions:
'Conditions' means the standard Terms and Conditions of sale set out in this document;
'Contract' means the contract for the sale of the Goods;
'Payment Card' means the credit or debit card or other payment system chosen by you to be used as the method of payment for the Goods of which you have provided details to us when placing the Order;
'Goods' which you have ordered including any instalment of the goods or any parts for them which are available for purchase from our Web Site in accordance with the Conditions;
'Information System' means a system for generating, sending, receiving, storing or otherwise processing electronic communications;
'Order' means any order placed by you with us for the supply of Goods;
'Order Form' means the electronic order form completed and submitted electronically by you;
'Web Site' our presence on the world wide web, currently accessible via the address [www.cruisevoucher.co.uk].
1.2 Reference to any statute or statutory provisions shall be deemed to include any statutory modifications or re-enactments thereof or any rules or regulations made there under or any enactment repealing and replacing the act referred to.
1.3 Unless the context otherwise requires:-
1.3.1 words importing the singular shall include the plural and vice versa;
1.3.2 words importing the masculine gender shall include the feminine gender and vice versa;
1.3.3 references to persons shall include bodies of persons whether corporate or incorporate.
1.4 Unless the context otherwise requires references to clauses shall be construed as references to clauses of these Conditions.
1.5 Headings are inserted for convenience only and shall not affect the construction or interpretation of these Conditions.
2. Basis of the sale
2.1 we shall sell to you and you shall purchase only those goods which you have set out in an order and which have been accepted by us. We reserve the right to reject any order. Unless otherwise agreed in writing each such sale of Goods will be subject to these terms and conditions.
2.2 No Order submitted by you shall be deemed to be accepted by us unless and until confirmed by e-mail or in writing by us.
2.3 No variation to these Conditions shall be binding upon us unless and until agreed by e-mail or in writing by us.
2.4 Any error or omission in any information or document issued by us shall be subject to correction provided that the correction does not materially affect the contract.
3. Orders
3.1 The quantity, quality and description of the Goods will be those set out in your Contract (if accepted by us).
3.2 Orders are accepted at our sole discretion but are normally accepted if the Cabins are available, the order reflects current pricing, you have not ordered from us within 30 days for normal cruises and 1 year for premium, Titanium or 90 days for gold

4. Cancellations will forfeit 100% of voucher , no refund or alternatives can be offered unless agreed with Cruise Direct UK Ltd .

5. Subject to our obligations, and your rights under the Regulations, we shall not be liable to you or be deemed to be in breach of the contract by reason of any delay in performing, or any failure to perform, any of our obligations in relation to the Goods if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond our reasonable control.

6. We assume no responsibility for the contents of any other web sites to which this Web Site has links.
7. No refunds for vouchers can be issued under any circumstances once issued.

9.Any change to ports of call or change of dates/cancellation of sailing by the cruise line  or cancelation of the main group by individuals, companies or Cruise Direct UK Ltd 's worldwide partner agencies which  Cruise Direct UK Ltd  is acting as agent for is completely beyond control of Cruise Direct UK Ltd 's and is passenger’s responsibility to make sure they have adequate travel insurance in place to cover loss of airfare should this occur.  And by buying receiving any voucher supplied by Cruisevoucher/Cruise Direct UK Ltd  or agents of Cruise Direct UK Ltd  holders agree to not hold Cruise Direct UK Ltd for any loss should their sailing be cancelled for this or any other reason and that  Cruise Direct UK Ltd will have the option of either reinstating the voucher used or  supplying a new voucher or refunding the original value that Cruise Direct UK Ltd received for the voucher when it was originally supplied by them.

10. Communications
10.1 Any communication sent electronically by e-mail or otherwise:
10.1.1 will be deemed to have been sent once it enters an Information System outside the control of the originator of the message;
10.1.2 will be deemed to have been received by the intended recipient at the time that in a readable form it enters an Information System which is capable of access by the intended recipient;
10.1.3 will be deemed to have been dispatched in the case of a business at its principal place of business and in the case of an individual where he or she ordinarily resides;
10.1.4 will be deemed to have been received in the case of a business at its principal place of business and in the case of an individual where he or she ordinarily resides.
10.2 To protect your own interests you should ask for a delivery receipt for any such and retain a hard copy of that delivery receipt and the original correspondence.
11. General
11.1 Any communication sent by post will be deemed received by the intended recipient three days following mailing where sent by first class post or five days after mailing where sent by second class post.
11.2 The clauses of these Conditions and each sub-clause thereof are several and if any part of any clause or sub-clause shall be void, invalid or unenforceable then the remainder of such clauses or sub-clauses shall nevertheless be valid and enforceable.
11.3 No term of the Contract is intended to confer a benefit on, or be enforceable by, any person who is not a party to the Agreement (whether under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 or otherwise).
11.4 If any provision of these Conditions is held by any court or competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable in any jurisdiction in whole or in part, it will not affect the validity or enforceability of the other provisions of these Conditions and the remainder of the provision in question shall not be affected nor will it affect the validity, lawfulness or enforceability of that provision in any other jurisdiction.
11.5 We will try and solve any disagreements quickly and efficiently. If you are not happy with the way we deal with any disagreement and you want to take court proceedings you must do so within the United Kingdom.
11.6 The headings in these Conditions are for convenience only and will not affect their interpretation.
